Our School Board brings parents, staff and community members together to help shape the future of Ellen Stirling Primary School. We share a commitment to helping every child feel safe, supported and successful.
Board members bring different experiences and perspectives to our discussions, while always acting in the best interests of our students and the school community.
What does the Board do?
The Board works with the Principal to help set the school’s direction and review our progress. This includes:
- contributing to our school’s plans and priorities
- reviewing information about student learning, wellbeing and school performance
- considering and approving contributions, charges and personal items lists
- providing feedback on matters affecting our school community.
Recent discussions have included our strategic planning for 2027–2029, keeping personal items lists affordable for families, and proposed changes to the school timetable.
The Principal manages the school’s day-to-day operations. Questions about an individual child, classroom matters or concerns should be raised directly with the teacher or school leadership team.
