Principal’s Message

I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all students and families who will be a part of the Ellen Stirling Primary School community this year.

Ellen Stirling Primary is a special place. This is a school where every child belongs.

Here, we provide a safe, enriched learning environment where children develop strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, discover their interests and grow in confidence. We hold high expectations for every student, while recognising that each child will need different support along the way.

Our school is guided by three priorities: consistency, care and culture. Consistent teaching, routines and expectations help children feel secure and ready to learn. Caring relationships help us understand and respond to their needs. Together, we build a culture where diversity is valued, effort is recognised and success is celebrated.

We know that a strong school grows through its people. We value and support our staff, welcome families as partners and recognise the diversity of our community as a strength. I encourage you to learn more about our Parents and Citizens association and other ways that you can contribute to this fabulous community.

If you are interested in learning more about our school, I encourage you to explore our website or contact the school office to book a tour.
